This privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Privacy Policy”) applies to personal data obtained about Users when using the e-wallet website “azwallet.az” (hereinafter referred to as the “Platform”).
By accessing the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy in its entirety.
BASIC CONCEPTS:
The following definitions are used in this Privacy Policy:
User – an individual using payment services provided through the Platform;
E-wallet – a virtual account designed to collect funds on the User’s account, which stores funds transferred by the User to the User’s account in accordance with the Rules for Using the Platform;
Platform Administrators – employees of the Platform’s management who act on behalf of the Platform, organize or carry out the collection of personal data, determine the purpose of processing personal data, the composition of personal data to be processed, actions (operations) performed with personal data;
Personal data – any data related to an individual is considered. This includes a person’s name, address(es), telephone number(s), email address(es), any other information or set of details about that person. This information allows the identification of a person in one resource;
Processing of personal data – Any action (operation) or set of actions (operations) performed with personal data without the use of automation tools or such tools, as well as collection, recording, systematization, collection, storage, clarification (updating, modification), receipt, use of personal data, transfer (dissemination, presentation, detection), blocking, deletion, cancellation;
Unauthorized distribution of personal data – distribution, transfer, presentation by the Platform of personal data outside the purposes specified in this Privacy Policy and without the consent of the User;
"IP" address - a unique network address of a node established by the "IP" protocol in a computer network;
Phishing is a cyber-fraud technique that tricks users into using fake websites or emails in order to steal personal information, passwords, or financial information.
GENERAL PROVISIONS
This Privacy Policy guarantees that personal data provided by the User when logging into the Platform, registering on the Platform or making payment transactions will not be illegally distributed and will be kept confidential by the Platform.
The User's use of the Platform constitutes consent to this Privacy Policy and the terms of processing the User's personal data.
If the User does not agree with the terms of the Privacy Policy, he / she must stop using the Platform.
COLLECTED INFORMATION
When you use the Platform, we may collect certain personal and financial information from you:
Personal information: First name, last name, contact information (e-mail, telephone number), address;
Financial information: bank account number, credit card information, transaction history;

PURPOSES OF PROCESSING USERS' PERSONAL DATA
The Platform Administrators may use the User’s personal data for the following purposes:
Identification of the User for the purpose of registration or conclusion of an agreement, as well as the use of other services of the Platform;
Provide the User with access to the E-wallet and related resources;
To interact with the User, provide customer support and process the User’s requests and inquiries;
To ensure the security of the Service and prevent fraud
Confirm the accuracy and completeness of the personal data provided by the user;
Verify and approve financial transactions related to the E-wallet;
Inform the User about the status of transactions related to the E-wallet;
Provide effective customer and technical support to the User in relation to any obstacles that arise when using the E-wallet service;
Carry out advertising activities with the consent of the user, provide information about services and offers;
To collect statistical and analytical data in order to improve the operation of the Platform;
Expand the range of the E-wallet and its services;
Deliver new opportunities, promotions and other information (e.g. advertising news) to the User by the Platform or third parties;
Comply with current legislation and fulfill legal obligations.
METHODS AND TERMS OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING
The processing of the User's personal data is carried out in the personal data information system without setting a deadline, in any legal way, as well as with automation and (without) automation.
The User agrees to provide the Platform with information to persons cooperating with the Platform or associated with the Platform, if necessary.
The user's personal data may be transferred to the competent state bodies of the Republic of Azerbaijan only in the manner prescribed by the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The Platform Administrators inform the User in case of loss or illegal distribution of personal data.
The platform administrators are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the User's personal information, its illegal or accidental seizure, deletion, modification, blocking, copying, illegal distribution, etc. implements the necessary organizational and technical measures to prevent illegal actions of third parties.
The Platform shall take the necessary measures to compensate for damage or prevent negative consequences associated with the loss or illegal distribution of the User's confidential information due to the fault of the Platform.
COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES
The Platform may use cookies and similar technologies to store information. These files are used to speed up the use of the Platform, improve the quality and security of its services, and for advertising purposes.
Any information received by the Platform from the User, as well as the placement of cookies in the User's browser, is carried out by means of a warning and with the permission of the User. By continuing to use the Platform, the User agrees to the storage of cookies in the User's browser.
The Platform uses cookies and similar technologies that are stored on the User's device when the User's browser is activated, as well as other similar technologies that remain on the User's device for a longer period of time. The User has the ability to block and delete such cookies and similar technologies.
Cookies are data received from the Platform, stored in the User's browser and sent to the Platform if the User revisits the same data. Cookies facilitate the use of the Platform by recording the necessary information for logging in and collecting statistics. Cookies do not store personal information.
Similar technologies include technologies such as flashcookies, HTML 5 cookies, which store information in the browser or device. These technologies may work in all of the User's browsers, and in some cases may not be fully controlled by the browser and may require direct management through user-defined add-ons or devices.
The Platform takes all security measures to prevent unauthorized access to cookies and similar technologies. The User undertakes to take similar security measures.
Technical information about the Platform, such as IP addresses, is used by the Platform for statistical and analytical purposes.
In order to provide high-quality services taking into account the individual needs and interests of the User, the Platform stores the User’s last access data to the system.
PHISHING
Phishing attacks are cyber fraud aimed at intercepting personal data, passwords or downloading viruses to technical devices as a result of downloading software with malicious intent or accessing messages sent by e-mail. The Platform has nothing to do with such attacks and strives to protect its Users from such threats. In this regard, the Platform provides you with a full guarantee against phishing attacks in the following cases:
Takes all possible measures to ensure that the official distribution and downloadable software do not contain any malicious viruses;
Email does not send phishing emails to your email address;
Email addresses provided by users are not shared with third parties for phishing attacks.
To protect against Phishing attacks, the Platform recommends the following:
Do not open emails from suspicious sources. Do not open messages from suspicious domain names and email addresses similar to the Platform name.
Beware of suspicious links. Beware of suspicious emails asking you to register an e-wallet, re-enter or change your password, or make bank card transactions.
Report to security services: If you see that, you have been subjected to phishing attacks or suspect such an attack, immediately report it to the Special State Security Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan, or Computer Emergency Response Centre of Special Communication and Information Security State Service.
In particular, I would like to note that phishing attacks usually begin with general statements, such as: "Hello everyone." However, for your own safety, you should never give third parties your email or e-wallet passwords.
LIABILITY OF THE PARTIES
The Platform shall be liable in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan for actual damage caused to the User as a result of the illegal use of information provided by the User in this Privacy Policy.
In case of illegal distribution of confidential information, the Platform shall not be liable in the following cases:
It became known to the public before it was lost or illegally distributed;
A third party received information prior to the Platform;
Distributed with the consent of the User; and
This was requested on the basis of an official request from authorized persons, the scope of which is determined by the current legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The User is responsible for the accuracy and correctness of any information and data provided by him/her and releases the Platform from any liability that may arise in connection therewith.
The Privacy Policy applies only to the Platform. The Platform does not control and is not responsible for third-party websites that the User will visit via links available on the Platform.
APPLICABLE LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
The current legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan shall apply to the relations between the User and the Platform in addition to this Privacy Policy.
The Parties shall attempt to resolve the dispute through mutual negotiations before resorting to court for disputes arising between the User and the Platform.
In case of failure to reach an agreement between the parties, the dispute will be resolved in the relevant court in accordance with the current legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
ADDITIONAL TERMS
The Platform has a right to make changes to this Privacy Policy without the User's consent. If the User does not agree with the changes, he/she may stop using the Platform. If the User continues to use the Platform, he/she agrees to all changes and accepts the new version of the Privacy Policy in full.
Unless otherwise stated, the new Privacy Policy will take effect upon its publication on the Platform.
